Hotel Web Design Built to Win the Direct Booking
Our hotel web design work helps independent hotels, resorts and inns turn lookers into direct bookings. Most guests find you on an online travel agency or a map listing, then visit your site to check photos, price and location. If your site is slow or the booking step feels clunky, they go back and book where you pay a commission.

Giving guests a reason to book direct
Guests compare your site with the travel agency listing side by side. They will book direct when your site is just as easy and gives them a reason, such as a better cancellation policy, a member rate, free parking or a breakfast package.
We make those perks visible on the home page, the room pages and inside the booking step. The booking widget sits in the same place on every page. On phones, dates and guest count take two taps. We also make sure your site and your listings show the same photos, room names and amenities, so guests do not feel they are looking at two different hotels.
Good web design for hospitality is about removing doubt at each step.
Booking engine integration and room pages
Your booking engine does the hard work of rates and inventory. Our job is to make the path into it smooth. We integrate tools such as SynXis, Cloudbeds, SiteMinder or Mews, and we style the booking pages to match your site where the engine allows it.
Each room type gets its own page with real photos, bed setup, size, view, accessibility features and a direct link to book that room. Our hotel website development work includes analytics that track a guest from the first visit to a completed booking, using the tracking options your engine supports.
We also connect your site to Google's hotel listings and free booking links through your booking engine or channel manager, where available.
Total price and accessible room details
Two sets of rules shape how hotel sites show rooms and rates. The FTC's rule on unfair or deceptive fees requires lodging providers to show the total price, including mandatory resort or destination fees, up front. Taxes and optional extras can be shown separately. We design rate displays so the total is clear from the first price a guest sees.
The ADA requires hotels to describe the accessible features of rooms and common areas in their own reservation systems, so guests with disabilities can judge whether a room meets their needs. We add those details to room pages and check they carry into the booking engine. Your team confirms the descriptions match the property. For a full review of the site itself against WCAG, see our website accessibility service.
Beyond rooms: events, dining and local guides
Many properties earn a large share of revenue outside room nights. Each area needs its own path.
- Weddings – Venue photos, capacity, package outlines and an inquiry form that asks date, guest count and budget range.
- Meetings and groups – Floor plans, AV details and an RFP form routed to your sales team.
- Restaurant and bar – Menus, hours and reservation links that work for locals as well as guests.
- Spa and amenities – Treatment menus and booking links, plus pool and fitness hours.
- Area guide – Nearby attractions, seasonal events and directions, written by your team so it reads like local advice.
Working with our hotel website design company
Step 1: We review your booking data, OTA mix and guest segments. Step 2: We design the home page, a room page and the booking path for approval. Step 3: We build the site, integrate your booking engine and add multilingual content if you need it. Step 4: We test bookings end to end, then launch with redirects in place.
As a hotel website design agency, we quote each property in writing. You get a clear price in your free proposal, after we look at your goals.
We will not promise a set share of direct bookings. Rate strategy and OTA contracts matter too. Website design for hospitality is one part of the mix. See all our web design services.

FAQ
Hotel Web Design: questions
We often work with SynXis, Cloudbeds, SiteMinder and Mews, and we can integrate most engines that offer a booking widget or deep links. The engine sets limits on styling and tracking, which we review at the start.
Under the FTC fee rule, mandatory fees must be included in the price you show up front. We design rate displays to show the total price, with taxes and optional extras shown separately.
Yes. We build shared templates so each property has its own pages and booking path, with a group site that lets guests compare locations.
We can arrange a photographer and plan a shot list for rooms, amenities and the area. If you already have recent photos, we design around those.
We compress and resize images, load them only as guests scroll and use video sparingly. We test on phones over cell data, since many guests book from a phone.
