Amazon Listing Optimization Built on Real Search Data
Our Amazon listing optimization work makes your product pages easier to find and easier to buy from. We research the terms shoppers use, then rewrite titles, bullets, descriptions and backend search terms around them. We also review your images, because shoppers decide from the photos as much as from the words.

What our Amazon listing optimization service covers
Amazon search uses the text in your listing to decide which queries you can show up for. Sales history and conversion rate then affect where you appear. Each part of the listing does a job.
- Keyword research – Search terms pulled from Brand Analytics, your ad search term reports and research tools such as Helium 10 or Jungle Scout, grouped by intent.
- Titles – Brand, product type and key features in the order your category style guide expects, kept readable on mobile.
- Bullet points and description – Five bullets that answer the questions buyers ask most, plus a description for shoppers who scroll further.
- Backend search terms – Synonyms, alternate spellings and other relevant terms, kept within Amazon's 250-byte limit and free of repeats or competitor names.
- Image review – A check of your main image against Amazon's white background rule, plus a plan for infographics and lifestyle shots.
Amazon copywriting that follows the rules
Good Amazon copywriting reads like it was written for a buyer, not for a search engine. Keyword-stuffed titles may still get indexed, but they hurt clicks and can break Amazon's title rules.
We write in plain language, lead with the benefit and back it up with a specific detail. We avoid claims Amazon restricts, such as unproven health claims, "best seller" wording, or prices and promotions in the title. For regulated categories like supplements or children's products, you approve any claim before it goes live.
Amazon's shopping assistant, Rufus, answers questions using listing content and reviews. Clear answers to common questions in your bullets and description give it accurate material to work with.
How we optimize each product listing
Step 1: We pull search term data for the product and its top competitors and map the terms to title, bullets and backend fields. Step 2: We review reviews and questions on your listing and competing ones to find what buyers care about.
Step 3: We write the new content and send it to you for approval. Step 4: We upload the changes through Seller Central or flat files and check that they went live without errors or suppressed fields.
Step 5: We track the results and adjust. Amazon product listing optimization is not a one-time task, since search terms and competitors change.
How we measure the effect of listing changes
We compare sessions, conversion rate and sales for each ASIN before and after changes. Brand owners also get Search Query Performance data, which shows impressions, clicks and purchases for each search term.
We watch your Best Sellers Rank on Amazon too, but treat it with care. It moves with sales across the whole category, so it is a rough guide rather than a goal. For brands in Brand Registry, Manage Your Experiments can test two versions of a title, main image or A+ content against each other.
We will not promise a set rank. Amazon decides placement, and price, reviews and stock all play a part.
Amazon product listing service pricing

Cost depends on the number of products, how many variations share content and whether you need new images. If ads are already running, our Amazon PPC team shares search term data with the copy team. For brand content below the bullets, see our Amazon A+ content and storefront service. All of our marketplace marketing services work from the same keyword research.

FAQ
Amazon Listing Optimization Services: questions
Amazon usually indexes new text within a few days. Changes in rank and sales take longer, because they depend on clicks and conversions after the update. We usually judge results after several weeks of data.
We use Amazon's own data first: Brand Analytics, Search Query Performance and ad search term reports. We add third-party tools such as Helium 10 or Jungle Scout for keyword volume and competitor research.
A writer can produce good copy. An agency adds keyword research, compliance checks, uploads, image direction and tracking after launch. It also connects listing work with your ads and account management.
No. Titles, bullets, descriptions and backend terms can be optimized without it, although you need permission to edit the listing. Brand Registry adds A+ content, Search Query Performance and Manage Your Experiments.
Yes. For new products we base keyword research on competing listings and category data, since your product has no sales history yet. We review the copy again once ad and search data come in.
