Fashion Web Design That Shows the Brand and Sells the Clothes

Our fashion web design work builds online stores for apparel and accessory brands that need to look like the brand and still make buying easy. Shoppers arrive from Instagram, TikTok or an email, usually on a phone. They want to see the piece on a real body, check the fit and get through checkout before they lose interest.

Brand mood without slowing down the store

Fashion sites live in tension. Your creative team wants full-screen video, big editorial images and room to breathe. Your sales numbers want fast pages and products near the top.

We solve that with structure. The home page and collection landing pages carry the mood with campaign imagery and short copy. Category and product pages stay clean, quick and focused on the item. We compress images and video, lazy load what sits below the fold and test on mid-range phones over cell data.

The result keeps your look while getting shoppers to product fast.

Product pages that answer fit questions

Fit is the main reason people hesitate and the main reason they return items. A good product page cuts both.

  • Fit notes – Runs small, true to size or relaxed, written by your team in plain words for each style.
  • Model details – The model's height and the size they wear, shown next to the photos.
  • Size charts – Garment measurements by size, with a short guide on how to measure yourself.
  • Swatches and variants – Color swatches that switch photos, and sold-out sizes shown clearly with a back-in-stock signup.
  • Returns summary – A short line on your return window and exchange process, linked to the full policy.

Planning for drops, launches and sale days

A new collection or limited drop can bring a large share of a month's traffic in one hour. We plan for that day from the start.

Before launch, we build a teaser page with a waitlist or SMS signup tied to Klaviyo or your email tool. On launch day, the collection page is ready to publish on a schedule. We test checkout, discount codes and inventory limits ahead of time. For high-demand drops, we can set up preorders or queue tools that fit your platform.

Most of the brands we work with run on Shopify, which handles large traffic spikes on its own servers. Our Shopify web design team builds custom themes and sections your merchandisers can update without code.

Labels, claims and the fine print

Apparel has disclosure rules that many new brands miss. Under FTC textile rules, online product descriptions should state fiber content and country of origin. A "Made in USA" claim has to meet the FTC's standard that the product is all or virtually all made in the United States.

Sustainability claims are also a risk. The FTC Green Guides cover words like "eco-friendly" and "recycled," and vague claims can mislead. We add fields to your product templates for fiber, origin and care so nothing gets left out. We do not invent claims, and your team confirms them before launch.

How we work as a fashion website design agency

Step 1: We review your brand guidelines, current store data and the shoppers you want to reach. Step 2: We design the home page, a collection page and a product page for approval. Step 3: We build the theme, set up product data and connect apps for reviews, returns and email. Step 4: We test on real phones and launch, usually away from a big sale.

FAQ

Fashion Web Design: questions

  • For most apparel brands, yes. It handles variants, inventory and traffic spikes well and has many apps for returns, reviews and loyalty. Very large catalogs or unusual needs may suit a headless setup instead.

  • Yes. We share image sizes, crops and shot lists before your shoot so photos fit the layout. We can also art direct product photography if you need it.

  • Yes. We build lookbook templates where each image links to the products shown. Your team can publish new ones for each season without a developer.

  • We can set up multiple currencies, languages and shipping rules on platforms that support them, such as Shopify Markets. Duties and tax settings should be confirmed with your accountant.

  • Fully custom themes cost more and depend on templates, apps and product data work. You get a fixed quote before we begin.
