Brand Identity Design Service: The System Around Your Logo
Our brand identity design service builds everything that surrounds your logo, so your brand looks the same on a website, a truck and a sales deck. That means colors, type, imagery, graphic elements and the rules for putting them together. A logo gets you noticed. The system makes you recognizable.

Why a logo alone falls short
On most things you produce, the logo takes up a small corner. Everything else, from backgrounds and photos to headlines and charts, is the identity.
Without a system, every designer, vendor and employee guesses. The website uses one blue, the trade show booth another, and the social posts a third. People see three companies instead of one.
You will hear the terms visual identity and brand identity used in different ways. We use visual identity for the design parts and brand identity for the whole picture, including voice. Our brand identity services cover the visual system in full and the basics of how your brand sounds.
Parts of the identity we design
Each part comes with clear rules and ready-to-use files.
- Color palette – Primary and secondary colors with HEX, RGB, CMYK and Pantone values, plus text and background pairs that meet WCAG contrast guidelines.
- Typography – Typefaces for headlines and body text, a size hierarchy and notes on desktop and web font licenses.
- Imagery style – Photo direction, cropping, color treatment and, where it fits, an illustration style.
- Graphic elements – Patterns, shapes, icon style and frames that make your materials recognizable without the logo.
- Layout rules – Grids and sample layouts for social posts, print pieces, slides and web pages.
- Voice basics – Tone traits, a short word list and sample headlines written in your voice.
Tested on the things you actually make
We design the system on real applications from the start. Typical tests include your home page, a social post, a business card, an email signature, a sign and a piece of packaging. Applications show gaps early, while they are still cheap to fix.
We also check practical details. Text colors are checked against WCAG contrast guidelines so people can read them. Fonts are checked for licensing. A desktop font license often does not cover use on a website or in an app, so we flag any extra license cost before you commit.
For companies with several divisions, our corporate identity design services add rules for sub-brands, office signage, uniforms and vehicles.
How an identity project runs
Step 1: We start from your positioning. If you do not have a written strategy, we run a short workshop or recommend our brand strategy service first.
Step 3: You pick one, and we develop it into a full system.
Step 4: We apply the system to your priority items and refine anything that does not hold up. Step 5: We hand off final files, templates and a guide. For a full brand book, see our brand guidelines service.
Choosing among brand identity agencies
Brand identity agencies range from a single brand identity designer to large brand identity design agencies with dozens of staff. Size matters less than process. Ask to see work shown in context, ask who owns the fonts and files, and ask who will actually do your design.
As a brand identity design studio, we keep a senior designer on your project from first sketch to handoff.
You get a clear price in your free proposal, after we look at your goals. Cost depends on the number of directions, applications and sub-brands. We will not promise that a new identity alone raises sales. It makes every other piece of marketing easier to recognize. Identity work often runs alongside our other branding services, from strategy to packaging.

FAQ
Brand Identity Design Service: questions
Typically a color palette, typography, imagery style, graphic elements, layout rules and a guide to using them. Some projects also include a new logo, templates and voice guidelines. We list every deliverable in the proposal.
Yes. Many companies like their logo but have nothing consistent around it. We keep the logo, or tidy it slightly, and build the system around it.
Logo files in vector and web formats, color values, font files or license links, graphic element files, templates in the tools you use and a PDF or web guide. Everything sits in one organized shared folder.
It depends on the number of directions, applications and stakeholders who need to review. Projects with one decision-maker move fastest. We share a schedule with review dates in the proposal.
We design the identity and can apply it to key web pages. Full site design and builds are handled by our web design company(/web-design/) team using the same files.
